• Bues Güell: The Bus Güell is perhaps the simplest. This bus leaves from the Alfons X metro station and it takes just 15 minutes to get directly to the park. The return trip is included in the price of your ticket to Park Güell’s restricted zone, too.




• H6 and D40 Bus Lines The H6 and D40 bus lines take you to the Travessera de Dalt bus stop and from there it’s just a short ten-minute walk. If you want to use the automatic stairs system to get to the park, make sure to access from the Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntaya.




• Bus Turístic and Barcelona City Tour buses The Bus Turístic and theBarcelona City Tour buses can also take you to a “Park Güell” official bus stop and you’ll again enjoy a brisk 10-minute walk to the park.




• Metro of Barcelona You can take the Green Line on the metro of Barcelona and stop at the stations of Vallcarca or Lesseps. You will enjoy a brisk 20-minute walk to the Park Güell.




• Other ways to get to the park Taxis or private cars are also an option to get to the Park Güell if you want to enjoy the ride on your own.

How to Access Park Güell

The majority of the park is free to access, but there is a restricted area within the park. This restricted area makes up just 9% of the total surface area and was introduced in 2013 to manage the number of people flowing through the popular section of the park.

Now, a maximum of 800 people is allowed access each hour. These tickets can be purchased up to three months before your visit on the Park Güell website. The tool is simple to use and you can choose a time slot according to your schedule.
