Rituels d’Orient
The intense sounds of the city disappear to give way to this oasis of peace: the scent of roses, two saunas at 37 and 46 degrees and a water circuit that will work wonders. Rituels d’Orient is a small and intimate spa that focuses more on treatments and massages than on thermal circuits. They have body and facial treatments, as well as oriental waxing. Metropolitan is a well known spa and fitness chain. A kind of Club Med Gym – more exclusiv- its clubs are conquering all of Spain, and now all the big cities in the country have branches. In Barcelona, the Metropolitan has no less than five addresses distributed throughout all the districts of the city. Near the Sagrada Familia, the most imposing address of the group, they’ve installed in an area of more than 8,000 square meters, where you can find everything you can imagine to exercise or relax.
State-of-the-art fitness room, hydromassage pool, hammam, sauna (with or without TV), solarium, cabins for individual treatments like massages, peelings, pedicures, manicures, waxing and more. It’s a big place but still in seamless condition, the service is professional and there is enough space for a bit of privacy. Day passes are available to visit the impressive spa.

This gym is located on the Esplanade of la Barceloneta in Plaça del Mar. It is not a luxurious or intimate spa, as it also hosts water polo exercises. This facility is actually a gym frequented mostly by families and seniors. That said, the fee is nice because for a €12 ticket you have all-day access.
This fee allows you to enjoy everything inside like one of the three outdoor pools with views of the beach, the fitness room as well as all the bodybuilding classes offered by the club. Add 7 euros and you will have access to the spa, which includes a sauna where men and women are separated, hammam, jacuzzi and jet pool. An authentic experience that you cannot miss!
